Have you played in a high school or college band and want to keep playing at EC? Want to get involved on campus and make memories that will last a lifetime? Look no further! The Golden Groove Pep Band just might be the perfect fit for you!
Launched in the fall of 2024, Golden Groove is open to undergraduate and graduate students. The group rehearses once to twice a week (depending on the season) and performs at athletics and other campus events throughout the academic year.
The Pep Band is a non-credit ensemble subject to all departmental and college regulations. Members are expected to meet attendance requirements to stay in the group as well as follow the college’s code of conduct. Members who meet the attendance requirements are eligible to waive the Physical Education requirement after their second year of participation.
If you have an instrument, bring it. College-owned instruments may be available for student use without additional fees.
The default uniform includes a Golden Groove t-shirt and blue jeans or black pants. The Golden Groove t-shirt is provided. Students need to bring their own pants as well as a black, white, or gray, long-sleeved shirts to wear under the t-shirt in colder venues/weather.
