Living on Campus

Part of the college experience is getting to know students from around the world and from all walks of life. And one of the best ways to do that is by living on campus. Students who live on campus have higher GPAs due to the proximity of classes, faculty, and facilities like the library, allowing students to be more engaged.

Residence Halls

A true home away from home, residence halls are communities where you’ll reset, recharge, and have fun with friends. For first-year students, your roommate (and everyone else in your residence hall) is adjusting to living on campus for the first time. These shared experiences can lead to support systems and lifelong friendships.

Dining at Elmira

Dining is an essential part of the Elmira student experience — it's where you’ll refuel and reconnect with the campus community. With a focus on craftsmanship, our daily offerings are always fresh, creative, seasonal, and made from scratch.

Rich Traditions

Purple and gold. A competitive athletic spirit. Singing the alma mater. Traditions such as these unite generations of students and alumni, stretching back 150 plus years. At the same time, each new class symbolizes the future that the College looks toward with present-day traditions such as Candlelight, Mountain Day, th e Holiday Banquet, Octagon Day, and Midnight Breakfast.
