This program prepares you for New York State certification in specific secondary subjects for adolescence education (grades 7-12).
Adolescence Education is focused on educating learners in grades 7-12.
In this program, you will work toward teaching biology, chemistry, English, environmental science, mathematics, or social studies in a middle school or high school classroom. All students will be required to sit for the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations.
