All nursing students complete a comprehensive preceptorship in the last term of the seniors year.

Nursing students spend 180 hours working directly with registered nurses in a clinical area. This intense experience provides Elmira College students with the experience and confidence necessary to transition to their role as a registered nurse.

Many students also chose to participate in internships with hospitals in the summer of their junior year.
