Our Master of Science in Education (MSEd) program was designed for those who dream of shaping future generations through education. Classes are fully online, providing flexibility for any schedule, and can be completed in 12 months. Students complete in-person field experiences, through practice and student teaching, in their local area.

Elmira College is a member of the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Pursuant to Â§52.21 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the educator programs offered by Elmira College are considered to be continuously accredited for purposes of meeting the New York State requirement that all such programs maintain continuous accreditation.
The Master of Science in Education: Adolescence Education 7-12 is an intensive cohort model for those with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Social Studies/History, or a related field.
The Literacy: Birth to Grade 12 graduate program is for individuals who possess or have recently applied for initial certification in any content area.
