Explore the processes that make up living organisms through our Biochemistry degree program.
The Biochemistry degree program fosters an aptitude for curiosity and nurtures your desire to explore the molecular processes of life.
Through pursuing a Biochemistry degree, you'll design experiments to test hypotheses, collect data with state-of-the-art instrumentation, and communicate through oral and written work the results of your experiments. You can engage in faculty research as early as your first year, and have the opportunity and flexibility to study abroad during Term III.
With a Biochemistry degree, you'll be prepared to pursue graduate studies in biochemistry, public health, exercise science, health professions and education. Or you can begin a professional career. Many of our alumni have gone on to pursue medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and pharmaceutical degrees.
The clinical laboratory sciences field is in high demand. Build on your Biochemistry degree with our Post-Baccalaureate Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program.
