Elmira College is a private liberal arts College located in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Seeking innovative professionals from diverse backgrounds to fill the position of Major and Planned Gifts Officer to join the Institutional Advancement and Alumni Engagement team.
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Engagement, the Major and Planned Gift Officer plays a key role in executing a robust major gifts program at Elmira College. The Officer will qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective major and planned gift donors. The primary focus will be on engaging prospects resulting in gifts in the five – seven figure range. The Officer will also collaborate with the VP and AVP of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Engagement to ensure continued and increased effectiveness in our engagement programs for major and planned gifts.

COMPENSATION: In exchange for your skills and experience, Elmira College will provide you with:
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily in a remote, off-campus office environment with frequent public contact. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and twist; to carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; ability to travel frequently and have a valid driver’s license.
