Accepted Student Recognition Day 4/6/24 arrow

At Elmira College, we recognize that planning for how to finance your education is a vital part of your college search process.

Getting the education you want shouldn't mean sacrificing yourself to a future of debt. While Elmira has one of the lowest undergraduate tuition prices for a four-year private college or university in the region, you should make the most of what is available. Our financial aid team can bring ideas that help you find the best way to pay for your studies.

Use this tool to learn just how much aid you are eligible for and then see what you'll have to contribute to the cost of your education. Most families are very surprised at how much financial aid Elmira College is able to offer students.

Four Quick Tips

  • Don’t focus on the “published” cost of college. Elmira College offers merit awards and need-based aid. Be sure to look at the final cost once you receive your award offer from the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Your grades are important. Elmira College merit scholarships and awards are determined by the Office of Admissions and based, in part, on your high school grade point average. The earlier you apply for admission the earlier you will know your award!
  • Merit awards are not the only source of assistance. Elmira College also offers need-based grants. To learn if you are eligible for need-based grants, complete your aid application now! Once you are accepted for admission, we will mail an official aid offer.
  • Don’t leave money on the table. Go to your high school guidance office and research private sources of aid or click here to get started now.
