Prospective students and their families have an opportunity to attend the Elmira College Fall Open House from 9:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, November 12. The event is a chance for attendees to get an in-depth look at what makes Elmira College a top-tier national liberal arts college.

During the event, students and their families will have a chance to talk with faculty about the 30-plus majors and minors offered at Elmira College during the Academic and Student Engagement Fair. Athletics will be on hand and there will be interactive demonstrations, highlighting the College’s emphasis on experiential learning. The Admissions Overview gives attendees a chance to talk with Admissions counselors about the application process. Current students will lead participants on a campus tour, showing off the academic and sports facilities, residence halls, and other aspects of campus life. The day will conclude with lunch in the Campus Center Dining Hall and tickets to see the Soaring Eagles Men’s Basketball team take on the Wildcats of Cazenovia College.

The night before the Open House, prospective students interested in pursuing math and science will attend a special Math and Science Overnight event. The Overnight provides the students with special, focused sessions with the Math and Natural Sciences faculty as well as a chance to spend the night in the residence halls with a current EC student.

While registration has closed for the Math and Science Overnight, it’s not too late to register to attend the Open House.
