At Elmira College, students and employees must register their vehicles with the Office of Campus Safety.
All vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, motorcycles, etc.), must be registered with a sticker and number before the end of the first week of the academic year or whenever you bring a car to campus.
Elmira College has parking lots located across campus or near buildings, and you may park in the lots specifically designated for students, faculty, or both. Guests of students, who plan to stay for more than two hours, must also register their vehicles. Access to student and guest parking permits can be found under Student Forms on the Student tab on MyEC.
If you have parked your car illegally or in an unsafe manner, you may receive a ticket from Campus Safety, which will be billed to your student account through the Business Office. If you wish to appeal your ticket, please stop by our office within three days of the ticket issue date. Please reference your Code of Conduct, where you will find a clear explanation outlining the safe places to park.
