Social Studies majors can take advantage of many different hands-on internship opportunities.
Past students have pursued hands-on learning opportunities with historic and modern museums, both locally and in larger areas, while others have been able to help with the Chemung County District Attorney's Office and Public Defender's Office, or have combined their business experience to intern with organizations such as Chemung County Chamber of Commerce, Elmira Downtown Development, and Southern Tier Economic Growth.
