Internships

Pursuing an English Literature degree is your key to many different and exciting internship opportunities.

Learn with media organizations who can use persuasive writers and critical thinkers, or publishers who value a strong editorial eye. Our English majors have also found success in a variety of business roles. Apply your lessons about people and culture to appealing to audiences through marketing, or public speaking and analysis in sales.

You can learn more about related community engagement and on-campus employment opportunities in MyEC through the Job Postings and Community Engagement options under the Student Tab. For internship opportunities, visit EC Handshake or Elmira College AlumniFire. For additional help exploring opportunities, contact the Office of Career Services.
