Kim Curtis ’83, CFP®, AEP®, CAP®, Partner at Cerity Partners, nationally recognized wealth management advisor, and EC alumna, will share some of her insights during a special virtual program at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22.
Free and open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni, this event is being held in recognition of National Estate Planning Awareness Week. It will cover practical advice on wills, trusts, tax strategies, charitable giving, and more.
Curtis believes that estate planning is not only for the wealthy. Instead, it should be about making certain everyone’s wishes are honored, that families are cared for, and legacies are preserved.
She brings decades of experience helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of estate and legacy planning. She’s known for her approachable style and for empowering people to make financial decisions that reflect their values and goals.
Curtis’s achievements include receiving the Financial Innovator Award at the Business Expert Forum at Harvard Business School. She shared the stage with Astronaut Buzz Aldrin at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, received the Financial Innovator Award with the Business Expert Forum at the Harvard Faculty Club, and featured on the Jumbotron in Times Square. She has advised Governors of States, national TV personalities, and even cage-fighting superstars in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She has been profiled on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, and CW news networks and in the Wall Street Journal.
