Annual Constitution Day Exhibit On Display In Gannett-Tripp Library

The annual Constitution Day poster exhibition is now on display in the Gannett-Tripp Library. The posters honor Constitution Day, which is celebrated on September 17 and marks the date the Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution in 1878.

For the exhibition, students in Jan Kather’s Electronic Art Studio course developed posters that feature one of the amendments to the Constitution.

“Working on the collaborative project was a refresher on the amendments,” said Brody Haynes ’26.

“I haven’t thought about the Constitution for a long time, and focusing on the Bill of Rights reminded me of this,” said Evalynn Zick-Dean ’24.

The students who contributed posers include:

  • Robin Gerber ’24

  • Jordan Gonzalez ’24

  • Dylan Hall ’27

  • Deanna Hathway ’25

  • Brody Haynes ’26

  • Jami Long ’24

  • James O’Grady ’26

  • Tamra Thomson ’24

  • Miranda Waterman ’25

  • Evalynn Zick-Dean ’24

The display can be seen in the lobby showcase of the Gannett-Tripp Library from September 14 until the mid-term break that begins on October 7.
