Move-In Mondays: Fall Events

Term I classes begin in only two short weeks, with Elmira College’s newest students arriving in less than one. While academic work is the focus of a student’s years on campus, a large part of the college experience includes activities, events, and general campus life – and can be just as important. Studies show that participating in campus events and activities leads to a greater sense of belonging, which leads to building stronger friendships, consistent classroom attendance, and better academic performance.

So mark the below in your calendars and be sure to bring some purple-and-gold spirit to the events.

Fall Events Of Note:

  • Throughout the Fall Term, sports events. Whether you’re on one of our 16 varsity athletics teams or not, sports events are a fun activity where you can help cheer on fellow classmates, boosting their spirits. Visit elmira.edu/events for a listing of local and away games.
