Elmira, NY (09/13/2022) — If you previously visited the Elmira College website, you may have noticed it now looks different.

In addition to an updated look and feel, one highlight is that information is now grouped for different audiences, including prospective students, current students, parents, alumni, and job seekers. Site visitors can find this targeted information by selecting the "Info For" link on the top menu. Mobile users will see a lowercase "i" in the top right of their screen.

Different audience groups will find "Quick Links," which link to commonly requested items for each group. For example, "Accepted Students" will see links to pages that will familiarize them with important services like Dining and Housing Services, MyEC, the bookstore, and the Clarke Health Center. Parents & Families have quick links to the parent portal, Eagle's Nest, as well as links to important dates, events, and news.

The academic pages on the new site can now feature student and alumni stories as well as academic events related to the program. This gives prospective students more visibility into the program's opportunities and advantages, which will be helpful as they consider their own career paths. And prospective students with additional questions or further interest in an academic program can easily send a message to the appropriate program faculty member(s) using a contact form.

All site visitors will find information about what makes Elmira College unique, ways to visit the campus, details about academic programs, how to apply, the ins and outs of financial aid, and more.

Check out the "Uniquely Elmira" section, which has stories about students giving back to the community or taking advantage of unique opportunities, alumni successes, and the continued academic contributions of our faculty.

Over the coming months, the College will continue to work with FORM, the agency that helped develop the new site, on implementing additional features. Whether you're new to elmira.edu or visited the site many times, we hope you'll explore and find the information you want at your fingertips.
