Elmira College student artwork will be on display in the George Waters Gallery and the Tifft Lounge from May 19 - 26. Awards for the Term III Student Art Exhibit will be announced during a reception, which is free and open to the public, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on May 19.
The Senior Art Major/Minor show will be in the George Waters Gallery and includes work from students like Max Lundin '22, Sabrina Byrd '22, and Kenta Okumura '21.
"My family has inspired my artwork," said Byrd. "I have chosen them as the subjects in my paintings."
"I am recording my painting process as a timelapse video," said Okumura, although he was unsure if the video would be part of the exhibition.
The Student Art Show will be in the Tifft Lounge.
