Each year, the Dr. Louise Frances Potter Prize is given in memory of Dr. Potter, an outstanding microbiologist at Elmira College, to a superior graduate in Biology. This year's recipient is Jacob Weber '20.
"I am so honored to have been selected as the recipient for the Louise Frances Potter Prize," said Weber. "Growing up on a small farm in the countryside, I have always been fascinated with the life that surrounds us. My passion for the biological sciences has never been stronger than it is now, and I would be remiss if I did not sincerely thank the science faculty at Elmira College for their support and for strengthening my appreciation of the many phenomena that make life so spectacular."
