Recently Professor of Political Science, Dr. Jim Twombly, was elected as the new vice president for the New York State Political Science Association (NYSPSA). Twombly was elected by NYSPSA's executive board at their May 1 meeting, with his term set to begin on July 1 and end on June 30, 2021.
In addition, Twombly will serve as co-program chair for NYSPSA's 2021 Annual Meeting, scheduled to be held at Elmira College in April 2021. The conference co-chair is Elmira College alumnus, Dr. Josh Meddaugh '07, who is currently an associate professor of political science and chair of the Social Sciences Department at Clayton State University in Georgia.
