Each year, awards are presented to students who exemplify excellence and knowledge of their respective concentrations within the accounting major. This year, three students have been named recipients for the Excellence in Auditing, Excellence in Accounting, and Excellence in Tax Awards. The recipients are Taylor McDuffee '20, Margaret Soper '17, and Harry Kramer '20, respectively.
"I'm very honored to have been chosen for the Excellence in Accounting Award," said McDuffee. "It's a great feeling to know that my hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed. I would like to thank my professors, as I have been very lucky for their support and guidance during my time spent at Elmira College, and the valuable knowledge and advice that I will continue to use in my future career and life!"
"I am very honored to have been selected to receive an award in a field that I am interested in pursuing," noted Soper '17.
"Receiving this award is a great honor for me," said Kramer. "Being recognized by such a well-respected organization and group of professionals in my field of study is something I can be proud of. This award serves as a reminder for me to continue to pursue my dreams and goals and always strive for excellence!"
