Office of Career Services to Host First Ever Career Development WeekThe Elmira College Office of Career Services will host its first "Career Development Week" the week of Monday, March 2.

The week will include a variety of career-related events each day, including email etiquette workshops, resume building and advice, mock interviews, and interview-oriented luncheons. The week will also provide opportunities to gain feedback from and network with visiting professionals, alumni, and the career services team.

"I think it's a really unique opportunity that can give a great advantage to students when they're ready to start looking for jobs," said Eleanor Candee, career services coordinator. "We have a lot of great resources for students, and I think Career Development Week is going to be a fun, exciting, and engaging way to share these resources and opportunities with our students."

For students attending the Thursday Etiquette Lunch or Friday Mock Interviews, both require registration. Registration can be completed by scanning the QR codes on campus flyers, following links provided in emails, or emailing career services directly at eccareers@elmira.edu.

Additionally, free, professional headshots will be offered at both the Etiquette Lunch and Mock Interviews. Students should plan to wear professional attire to both events.
