Accepted Student Recognition Day 4/6/24

Free Entrepreneur Workshop for Veterans, SpousesThe Elmira College Office of Continuing Education, in partnership with Corning Community College and IncubatorWorks, is sponsoring "Boots to Business Reboot," an entrepreneurial education and training program for veterans and spouses of veterans.

"We are very excited to be able to bring this workshop, for the first time, to the Twin Tiers for our veterans and their spouses," said Alan Yeck, director of professional and continuing education programs at Elmira College. "While we have vets enrolled in our degree programs, this workshop allows us to take educational programs beyond the classroom and into the community. It's a great resource for veterans, or their spouses, who want to start or grow a business."

The workshop, scheduled for 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7 at the CCC Elmira Center, is a program of the U.S. Small Business Administration and is designed to introduce the skills, knowledge, and resources veterans and/or their spouses would need to launch a business. Veterans of all eras, Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), and spouses are eligible to participate.
