Dr. Alicia Swords, Professor and Department of Sociology Chair at Ithaca College, will discuss themes from research she collected working with social movement organizers in a presentation titled, “Building a New and Unsettling Force: Lessons From Social Movements Past and Present.” The event, sponsored by EC’s Women’s and Gender Studies program, is from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday, March 24, in the Peterson Chapel in Cowles Hall.
The event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
