*About the interactive Panels
Climate Crisis A Geography of Justice: Run by EC the Black Student Union, Mock Trial Club, and Environmental Club, the interactive session looks at how the intensification of hurricanes and mangrove depletion - due to climate change - has affected the De Gulla/Geechee people in the Southeastern United States.
Collective Action in the Face of Climate Crisis: This welcoming and interactive workshop is led by Sarah K. Chalmers, Lecturer of Applied Theatre and Theatre Program Manager at EC, with support from Art and Environmental Science double major Joyanna Lynn ‘27. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen, play, and create in this collaborative workshop that invites participants to interact in multiple ways, including discussions, collective brainstorms, and embodied activities. The focus will be on sharing perspectives, asking questions, and using the imagination to explore the barriers and pathways to collective action.
