Students may change from part-time to full-time status (or vice versa) after consulting with their academic advisor.
If a student has completed less than 90 credit hours as a part-time student, he or she will be required to apply for admission as a full-time student through the regular admissions process and should contact the Office of Admissions.
Students seeking this transfer must have at least a 2.000 cumulative GPA in order to be considered for admission as a full-time student.
If a student is full-time for more than 50% of his or her Elmira College career up to the 90th credit hour, then the graduation requirements for full-time students will apply, even if the student becomes part-time. If a student is part-time for more than 50% of his or her Elmira College career up to the 90th credit hour, then the graduation requirements for part-time students apply, even if the student becomes full-time. Special cases will be decided by the Educational Standards Committee.
