13 Students and a Professor  Inducted into Sigma Beta Delta

On April 2, the Elmira College Chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, the International Society for Business, Management, and Administration, inducted 13 students and one faculty member during a special ceremony on campus.

The EC chapter of Sigma Beta Delta (SBD) was founded in 1998.

The 13 students inducted, included:

The business professor inducted was:
  • Dr. Susan McDaniel Hohenhaus LPD, RN, FAEN

Sigma Beta Delta, founded in 1994, was established to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management, and administration, and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.

Following the induction ceremony, more than 100 EC Business and Economics Students, faculty, staff, and parents attended a celebration hosted by the EC SBD Chapter President, Dr. Alison Wolfe, Professor of Marketing, Chair of the Business & Economics Division, and Director of the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Business School.

Today, there are more than seventy active Gamma Sigma Epsilon chapters throughout the United States. The society is governed by a national executive council of elected officers and meets in biennial conventions for governance, fellowship, and scientific exchange.
