Wells College Students

With announced closure, learn how EC can help.arrow

Did you know that 100% of EC students are offered merit scholarships and 92% receive some type of need-based assistance? Join for our two annual days of giving – Giving Tuesday and Elmira Everlasting – to help support continued scholarships and need-based aid to EC students.

Elmira Everlasting

Elmira Everlasting is the College’s 24-hour giving challenge that takes place each spring. In April 2024, the event set a new record with more than $135,000 in donations and matching funds, brought in through the generosity of individuals and friendly class competitions.

Retaining their titles were the Class of 2008 as Most Everlasting Class and the Class of 2025 as Most Everlasting Current Class. In addition to bragging rights, these classes are recognized with a banner displayed in the Campus Center.

Top Priorities in 2024

The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund at Elmira College supports the College’s greatest needs each year — from direct student support and scholarships to buildings and grounds to classroom upgrades and enhancements. Please give generously to ensure that our students have what they need when they need it most.

The Turf Field

Elmira College is moving forward with a multi-sport turf field – an exciting opportunity that will not only enhance the College’s athletics, but also support enrollment and retention efforts, and support mental and physical well-being on campus as identified in the College’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.

"Our class has always stepped up huge for competitions. Any way we can show our love and support for EC, we were there loud and proud."
–Class of 2008

Elmira College #GivingTuesday

An international day of giving, #GivingTuesday occurs each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Because of your generosity, we have raised more than $362,055 since 2013.

Recent #GivingTuesday Results

2023

More than $47,000 raised through 145 gifts.

2022

More than $34,000 raised through 173 gifts.

2021

More than $25,000 raised through 163 gifts.

Large or small, cash or stock, your gifts support a place where students learn to meet the complexities and challenges of today’s world and how to lead in their own way. Here, they develop critical thinking skills and prepare for the professional world that awaits.

Each year around #GivingTuesday, students share their stories so you can hear first-hand how Elmira College is their place. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to learn more about how your support is improving our students' experience.
