TIMEFLIES with special guest Chiddy Bang

The Big Events Committee is thrilled to announce this term’s Big Event, Time flies with a Bang featuring TIMEFLIES and Chiddy Bang on Thursday, October 10th at 9:00 p.m. in the Speidel Gymnasium!

Timeflies began releasing singles in 2010. On September 19, 2011, Timeflies released their debut album, The Scotch Tape followed by Under the Influence, a 6 track sample-based mixtape, in July 2012. On November 27, 2012, they released another 6 track EP, One Night, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes overall. The track also debuted on the Billboard 200 at #29. Chiddy Bang’s sound is based on the fusion of hip hop and alternative using samples from artists such as Ellie Goulding, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, MGMT, and Yelle. Some of his best known songs are Opposite of Adults, Mind Your Manners, and Ray Charles.

Full-time undergraduate EC students may now receive 1 FREE personal ticket and may also purchase one guest ticket for $10 now! Additional guest tickets are $20 each. Tickets for part-time students, faculty, staff, and administrators for two $10 tickets go on sale Thursday, September 19th. Public tickets go on sale on the 19th for $20 per ticket. To receive your ticket(s), visit the Elmira College Box Office in Gibson Theatre. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will stay open until 9:30 p.m. on the night of the show. The Box Office phone number is (607) 735-1853. Please note that you must accompany your guest(s) to the performance or they will not be admitted. Please keep in mind that while they are on campus, you are responsible for their behavior.
