Join Elmira College's Student Alumni Council (SAC) for a crazy fun time during the first SAC Rainbow Run 5K from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, on the trails near Elmira College's Murray Athletic Center. This experience will be packed to the brim with fun, including a 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) walk/run where the participants will be splattered with color on a provided t-shirt, have an opportunity to win raffle baskets, and enjoy a small snack post-race to recharge. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Elmira College SAC.
SAC raises funds throughout the academic year for projects that enhance the college experience for students, returning alumni, and guests of the College. The proceeds from this event will be used to help fund the installation of water bottle filling stations in residence halls. This will impact the College's sustainability and environmental initiatives as well as offer 24-hour access to filtered, cooled water.
