Elmira College presents Freedom Dreamers: The Legacies of Black Educational Scholars and their Role in Cultivating Excellence as part of Black History Month.

Dr. Jarvis Marlow-McCowin, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Education Manager at Corning Incorporated, will wave personal narrative, trivia, theory, and reflection in an engaging presentation about the influence Black scholars had in shaping educational success pre- and post-Brown v. Board of Education.

Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
