Through undergraduate research, Term III travel courses, NCAA Division III athletics, performing arts, and with access to more than 70 student clubs and organizations, our students are consistently encouraged to engage with the greater campus community.
Students are empowered to become leaders – on the court, in their residence halls, as Academic Fellows, or through dedicated positions in student clubs and organizations.
Faculty, administrators, coaches, and staff become more than their title or position – they become dedicated mentors to students.Lifelong mentors support students during their years on campus and continue to do so long after they leave our halls.
All students complete an internship or experiential learning project and perform community engagement – exploring both their sense of self and their role as citizens in the broader Southern Tier region.
From a student's first contact with the college – whether through admissions personnel, coaches, faculty, or our alumni network – students are woven into the social fabric of campus. The relationships formed before Day One are a prelude to the lifelong friendships built here.
EC alumni are invested in their alma mater and continue to foster student success. Many an alumnus has helped secure a student's internship or first job. Alumni networking begins during a student's time on campus, not afterwards.
