Dr. Jeffrey Amack

On Friday, October 27, the Lecture in the Sciences series continues with Dr. Jeffrey Amack from SUNY Upstate Medical University. The lecture begins at 6:00 p.m. in Peterson Chapel, Cowles Hall.

Dr. Amack’s presentation titled, “Heart development in the Zebrafish embryo” is broadly focused on understanding how organs form during embryonic development. Transparency of the embryo and rapid heart development make zebrafish especially appealing to study the causes of cardiac birth defects.

This lecture is free and open to the public. Click here for more event information.
