Alumna Kicks Off Science Lecture Series

Dr. Tsion Minas

Alumna, Dr. Tsion Minas ’09 is set to present the first Lecture in the Sciences on Friday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m., in Peterson Chapel, Cowles Hall.

Dr. Minas currently works at the National Cancer Institute, which is part of the National Institutes of Health. Her presentation, titled, “ETS family of transcription factors as a therapeutic target in cancer," demonstrates how direct targeting of ETS transcription factors with small molecules could be of significant therapeutic value in oncology.
