Octagon Fair

Elmira College invites the community to campus on Saturday, October 7, 2017, for the 50th annual Octagon Fair.  This long-standing EC tradition offers a family-friendly day of fun, food, games, crafts, and entertainment for the entire community.

“Octagon Fair is a great opportunity for local families to visit campus, experience live performances, and shop with regional vendors,” said Emily Bush ’18, Elmira College student and member of the Octagon Fair executive committee. “This is a special tradition for so many, and every year we set out with the goal of putting on a memorable, community event for all ages."

The 2017 Fair, which runs from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., features a line-up of live entertainment including Elmira College a cappella groups, the EC Chiclettes and EC Naturals. The Elmira College Tap Ensemble, Silent Voices, Danceline, Orchesis, and The Filippetti’s Dancers are also set to perform.

In addition to entertainment, a variety of vendors, regional artisans, and students will offer items for sale such as baked goods, jewelry, artwork, pottery, plants, clothing, games, beauty products, locally grown produce, and more.

Rain location for Octagon Fair is inside Speidel Gymnasium.
