In their just-released 2018 BEST COLLEGES rankings, U.S. News & World Report again named Elmira College to the list of Best National Liberal Arts Colleges.

“We are honored to once again be included in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best National Liberal Arts category,” observed Elmira College President Dr. Charles Lindsay.  “This recognition is another acknowledgement that Elmira offers students a collaborative and supportive environment that enables them to become active learners, effective leaders, responsible community members, and globally engaged citizens.”

The College was also identified as a “Best” National Liberal Arts College by high school guidance counselors.  Each year, U.S. News & World Report surveys guidance counselors from the top public high schools, as well as the largest private schools, on which National Universities and National Liberal Arts Colleges offer the best undergraduate education to their students.  Elmira College was among the 215 National Liberal Arts Colleges making the list.

Elmira College has also been listed by the Princeton Review as a Best College in the Northeast and named a College of Distinction for innovative learning opportunities and expert blending of the liberal arts with professional programming in business, education, and nursing.
