Reunion 2017 Brings Memories, Classmates and Friends Together

Reunion 2017 drew alumni of all ages from across the country for a weekend of traditions, reminiscing, and connecting with friends old and new.

Alumni from the classes of 1942 to 2017 were represented including the 50th Anniversary Class of 1967. On Saturday, during the Annual Alumni Meeting, the Distinguished Achievement Award was presented to Barbara Munder Riordan ’67 for her career and community service. Additionally, Helen McGraw Rock Murdock ’67 received the Distinguished Service Award from Cheryl Broomall Shallish ’71 for her ongoing support and dedication to Elmira College. 

Additional highlights from the weekend included the annual parade of classes, Mountain Day picnic, Third Annual Wine Fest, visits to Quarry Farm and the Corning Museum of Glass, as well as academic lectures by faculty members.
