Dr. Corey McCall

Earlier this month Dr. Corey McCall, Associate Professor of Philosophy, presented at a conference, Deleuze & Guattari: Here and There, Then and Now at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.

The conference, part of the Theorizing at Rowan Summer Symposium, focused on the collaborative and independent works of Gilles Deleuze, a French philosopher, and Félix Guattari, a French psychiatrist.

Dr. McCall's presentation titled, "Deleuze's Bartleby, or Foucault with Melville," examined the political and philosophical implications of Gilles Deleuze's conjunction of the figure of French philosopher Michel Foucault (1926-1984) with American author Herman Melville (1819-1891) in Deleuze's 1986 book Foucault.
