Dr. Amy M. Lyndaker, Assistant Professor of Biology, and her research group, were recently published in the Genetic Society of America’s (GSA) Spotlight Journal. The publication is now available digitally through the GSA’s “Genes to Genomes” blog.

The research titled, “A Delicate Balance Between Repair and Replications Factors Regulates Recombination Between Divergent DNA Sequences in Saccharomyces cerevisiae,” focuses on DNA repair and how cells regulate their decisions to undergo genetic recombination between two DNA sequences.
