Art Competition
Pictured here are Gabrielle, Miranda, and Professor Longwell with Congressman Reed's Executive Assistant Sharon Murphy as they view art works submitted for the annual art competition.

Earlier this month, students Gabrielle Higgins '18 and Miranda Satterly '17, joined their art professors Chris Longwell and Jan Kather to judge the 2017 Congressional Art Competition at the request of Congressman Tom Reed, the U.S. representative for New York’s 23rd District.

This competition is an opportunity for high school students in the district to have their original artwork displayed for one year in the United States Capitol and in Congressman Reed’s Washington, D.C. office.
