Nobel Prize Winner Kicks-Off Lecture Series

Dr. Roald Hoffmann, Nobel Prize winner in chemistry and Frank H. T. Rhodes Professor of Humane Letters Emeritus at Cornell University, kicks off the 2016 Lecture Series in the Sciences with his presentation, “Protochemistires are a Bridge,” on Friday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Peterson Chapel, Cowles Hall.

Dr. Hoffmann’s presentation, which takes a look at how chemistry is part of our everyday world, is co-sponsored by Elmira College and the American Chemical Society.

The lecture series continues with presentations from Elmira College alumni Dillon Damuth ’13 on Friday, October 7 and Katie Moring ’09 on Friday, November 4.
