Elmira College has provided me the opportunities to grow as a young lady and professionally. It has become my safe heaven away from home, my connections with professors, students and faculty have changed me in every aspect of my life and I could not thank them enough. Going into my final year I know that my choice was the right one for me and I would choose Elmira College all over again.

What is your favorite tradition?
My favorite tradition is Finals Countdown. The Sunday before finals term 2 the student body gathers together after a long day of studying and is able to eat some delicious food and win great prizes! This gives me a chance to relax and let my mind rest before either going back to studying and getting ready for finals week.

What are your plans for the future?
In the future I would like to be a labor and delivery nurse ultimately becoming a midwife some day. Before more I go back to school to continue my nursing education I would love to enroll into a traveling Nursing program, traveling all around the country, maybe even the world. This will combine my two loves of travel and helping people in the health care setting.

What is your favorite club or activity?
My favorite club on campus is the Student Activities Board. Everyone on campus is welcomed and we meet once a week. This club puts on different entertainment for the college throughout each term, such as comedians, bands, interactive games, novelties night, and much more. In the club students are able to share their idea on events that they want to come to campus. I am currently the Variety chair, which means I take the suggestions from the board and finds acts that would please everyone. This club makes sure that there is always things happening on campus.
