"Elmira College is my home away from home. The opportunities are endless, and the future is bright."
What is your favorite tradition?
My favorite tradition is Holiday Banquet. Each year after students return from Thanksgiving Break, they can sign up to sit with a faculty member or administrator who hosts a table for dinner. The host will cut turkey and serve the students food. It is a really great time to talk with faculty and administrators, and as with any Elmira College tradition, there is singing at the end!
What are your plans for the future?
My ultimate goal after graduating from Elmira College in 2014 is to be a criminal profiler in the FBI, which would utilize my double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Before that happens, I will most likely be attending Grad school.
What is your favorite club or activity?
My favorite club is SAB (Student Activities Board). I am the Vice President of SAB. I encourage everyone to attend these meetings because SAB gives students the direct opportunity to voice their opinion about what entertainment comes to campus.

How did you get involved on campus?
My RA freshmen year was really involved and brought me to my first SAB meeting on the first day of classes. One month later I became a chair of the board. Also during Fall Orientation, the activities fair really helped me get involved because I could talk to people who were already involved in clubs and see what they were all about. It was really great to receive feedback from other students.
Describe one part of the orientation trilogy (SR, FO, PW) that benefited you.
Every part of the orientation trilogy was beneficial to me. I really enjoyed Parents Weekend because it was the first time seeing my mom. It was really exciting to introduce her to my friends and let her experience the new chapter of my life with me.
