"Elmira College has provided me with an incredible foundation for my personal growth. Through academic rigor, invaluable friendships, and endless opportunities I have been able to truly grow in ways I could not have ever imagined were possible."

What is your favorite tradition?
My favorite tradition in Elmira College is participating in singing the College songs. All of the college songs are unique and meaningful in their own way. There is nothing more fun than singing the songs with my best friends that I made during the Summer Registration program.

What are your plans for the future?
After Elmira I aspire to go to law school followed by becoming a lawyer for the U.S. Air Force. After my time in the Air Force, I want to work for humanitarian efforts for the United Nations. I hope to someday be included in Time Magazine’s 100 People that Change the World.

What is your favorite club or activity?
Two of my favorite activities on campus include being a member of the Gold Key Society and being an Air Force Cadet. Being a Gold Key tour guide I have the opportunity to interact with prospective students while sharing my own college experiences with them. Being an Air Force cadet has taught me integral life lessons which intertwine with aspects I have learned in Elmira College, all helping me create an unforgettable college experience.

What did you like about community service, encore, core, or the freshmen writing program?
My community service experience in Elmira College is one of my favorite memories from my freshman year. Volunteering in the community of Elmira gave me a newfound appreciation for both my college and the community. The community service program instilled a lifelong hobby of volunteer work. The Encore program enhanced my learning experience through out of the classroom learning by numerous talented performers. Through community service and the Encore program, my appreciation for learning soared to an entirely new level.
