Chad works as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division in the FBI. His wife, Christina Boczar Thorley, graduated from Elmira College in 2002 with a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and received her Master’s of Arts in Museum Studies from George Washington University. Christy is currently a graphic designer at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery.
Chad Thorley graduated from Elmira College Summa Cum Laude in 2002 with a B.A. in Politics and International Studies. He received his JD degree from Syracuse University in 2005. While at Elmira College, he was involved in the College Republicans, Pep Band, Model UN, Student Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Phi Beta Kappa, and he was a Gold Key and an Orientation Leader. Chad was awarded the Alumni Ring in 2002 and the Helen Gibson Dinsmore ’36 Prize, and he was a recipient of the Joy and Edward Hoffman Scholarship for Pre-Law.
Chad and Christina are both currently serving on the Alumni Board, and Chad is the president of the Mid-Atlantic Alumni Chapter.
