Yellow Ribbon Program

Free Elmira College Tuition Program for Veterans

Elmira College proudly announces a new scholarship for veterans who qualify for assistance under the Yellow Ribbon Program provision of the Post–9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33 benefits) to cover unmet need for tuition and fees at the College.

Tuition and fees will be fully covered by the Veterans Administration and Elmira College for eligible veterans. There may also be additional funding available from the VA for housing and books for some veterans. This benefit begins with enrollment for the Fall 2009 term at Elmira College.

“Elmira College stands ready to help our nation’s veterans succeed. With our long tradition of support for the United States military through our Army and Air Force ROTC program, the College appreciates the service and perspective our veterans bring to the classroom,” said Dr. Thomas Meier, President of Elmira College and former U.S. Army officer.
