The Elmira College Enactus team recently competed in the Enactus USA National Exposition in Kansas City, and was recognized as the second runner up in the division. This places the team in the top 5 percent of teams in the county. More than 800 Enactus teams exist on campuses around the country; of these, fewer than 170 teams qualify for the National Exposition.
Earlier this spring, the team won its seventeenth consecutive Enactus USA Regional League Championship in Baltimore to advance to the national contest. Elmira College has placed in the top twenty in the National Exposition six times in the last ten years, including two fifth-place finishes. The team has completed educational and entrepreneurial projects around the community and around the globe.
“Elmira College and the Elmira community can be proud of these extraordinarily talented students,” said Enactus Advisor, Vice President of Public Relations, and Chief of Staff Mike Rogers. “Our community and other communities around the world are better off because of the work of EC Enactus students.”
