A placement file contains some key credentials that may assist you in your job search. Credentials include professional information and supportive documents you have collected related to your background and qualifications. Your placement file is mailed to employers and-or graduate schools at your written request. A file is established when you submit a completed Placement File Registration Form. If you desire your own file copy, for a written recommendation we suggest that you request copies directly from the originator at the time you ask them. Letters of recommendation will be accepted only from those who write them. Hand delivery of placement files is strictly prohibited.
You may keep a maximum of eight items in your file. We suggest that you not include a resume, as it may become outdated quickly.
