One-year position in Psychology
Elmira College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment in psychology beginning in the Fall Term 2014. The department seeks a faculty colleague with a strong teaching record, including experience teaching introductory psychology and a variety of foundation courses in psychology. A master’s degree in psychology is required, although a doctoral degree is preferred. While area of specialization is open, preference may be given for a candidate with teaching interests in an applied field of psychology, such as developmental psychology, school psychology, or health psychology.
Elmira College, the first to offer a comprehensive curriculum for women and home of the Center for Mark Twain Studies, is a small, well-established, residential, liberal arts college in the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
