Position: Student Success Coordinator (Graduate Assistant, twelve-month)Category: Administration
As a member of the Office of Retention and Advocacy, the Student Success Coordinator provides Academic Success Coaching to at-risk students; provides outreach for students identified as at-risk through the Early Alert referral process, Mid-Term Grades, and through the College Student Inventory; provides support and instruction to students, faculty, and staff; and provides training for the campus community, as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Services, Education, or a related field and experience in assisting others with academic skills. Applicants should possess a strong service attitude and excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Applicants must also be pursuing a Master’s Degree through Elmira College to be eligible. This two-year position will start in January 2014.
