Kathryn Augustine enters her first year as Head Women's Lacrosse
and Assistant Field Hockey coach at Elmira College.
Augustine, who came to Elmira in the fall of 2006, was a four year
starting goalie at Saint Mary’s College of California.
While at Saint Mary’s, Augustine set an NCAA record for
most saves in a game in 2005, and was named team captain in that
same season as well.
From August 2005 to July 2006, Augustine was involved with the St.
James Independent School for Girls Lacrosse team in London, England
and the Hitchin Lacrosse Development Program in Hitchin, England.
While working with both these programs, she was responsible for all
aspects of skill development, game time strategies, and recruiting.
Augustine is currently pursing a Master’s Degree in
Education at Elmira College.
Anna Rogers enters her first year as Head Field Hockey and
Assistant Women's Lacrosse coach at Elmira College. This season
will be Rogers’ debut as a head coach at the collegiate
level having graduated from Old Dominion University in June of this
year.
While at Old Dominion, Rogers was a five year member of the
Division I nationally ranked Field Hockey program. After red
shirting in 2002, she then started all but one game for the Lady
Monarchs in 2003 and became one of the team’s top
offensive performers. In her second season she returned as one of
the team’s top players and started in 20 of the 21
games played.
Rogers’ helped lead the Lady Monarchs to the 2005 NCAA
Final Four where they were defeated by Maryland in the first round
by only one goal. In that year, she played in all 25 games and
finished the season ranked seventh overall in scoring. In
Rogers’ final season, 2006, she played in total of 19
games. Her efforts helped guide the team to an overall record of
19-6, which earned the team a final season ranking of fifth in NCAA
Division I Field Hockey.
As a student, Rogers was involved in many different aspects of the
Health and Physical Education program. She served as a member of
the HPE Club and was a Student Athlete Mentor as well. She has also
coached at a variety of camps throughout Virginia, Delaware, and
Pennsylvania.
Additionally, Rogers earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health
and Physical Education and currently holds an ASEP Coaching
Certificate.
